What is Ozone?
Ozone is an elemental form of oxygen occurring naturally in the Earth's atmosphere made up of three (3) Oxygen Atoms (O3). Whereas the oxygen molecule, far more stable, is composed of only two (2) Atoms (O2).
Ozone is highly reactive chemical element. It is constantly formed as a colourless gas at about 20-50 km above the surface of the earth under the influence of vacuum ultraviolet (UV) light from the atmospheric oxygen: 3O2 --> 2O3.
Ozone forms a protective layer that protects us from the sun's ultraviolet radiation. The radiation can be very harmful to humans. The depletion of the ozone layer is of grave concern to environmentalist and scientist alike due to its protective function.
What is Medical Ozone Therapy?
Ozone-Therapy is the use of Medical Ozone for the treatment of diseases.
What are the medical uses of Ozone?
The value of ozone in medicine has been debated for decades. It has been used to treat millions of patients for more than fifty (50) years with no side effects when used correctly.
Ozone was first used in the First World War, in the treatment of gaseous post traumatic gangrene of the German Soldiers.
However, in 1932 when ozonated water was used as disinfectant by dentists, it was seriously studied by the scientific community. One of the patients who benefited from the treatment was a surgeon called Dr Erwin Payr. He became inspired after it was used to treat him and he started using it in his own practice. In fact, he was the first Doctor to use ozone gas through rectal insuflation.
Ozone is used for treating patients with various medical conditions, some listed below, in more that 34 countries and there are currently more than 26,000 ozone therapists in the world. The leading countries using ozone to treat millions of patients are Germany, Cuba, Russia and Italy. Most of the world leading ozone research centres could also be found in these countries. These countries have been using ozone for the treatment of various medical conditions for over forty (40) years.
However, In USA, the FDA has not yet approved the medical use of ozone despite all the known benefits and used all over the world.
What does Ozone work to cure diseases?
Ozone is lethal (kills) to almost all viruses, bacteria, fungus and cancer cells on contact without any resistance and without the side effects of antibiotics because it is natural, it is oxygen! It also boosts your immune system to fight any disease. It improves the quality of life of cancer patients and there are reports of cancers being cured by this therapy. Remember it is OXYGEN therapy.
In 1931, Dr. Otto Warburg was awarded the Nobel Prize in biochemistry. He demonstrated that the metabolism of cancer cell was like that of a plant cell, that thrives on carbon dioxide and gives off oxygen as a waste product. It represents a fermentation process. So in the presence of oxygen ( by means of ozone-therapy) cancer cells cannot survive.
Ozone oxygenates your blood and tissues more than your lungs could do and by-passes the lungs to achieve that. It can also improve swelling and pains in most parts of your body. It also reduces cholesterol in the blood and by do so doing improves circulation for people with poor circulation, ischemic heart diseases (heart problems) and obstructive strokes (non-bleeding strokes).
Ozone also reduces the hardening of the blood vessels that most of the time leads to increased blood pressure and by so doing can improve hypertension.
It can improve sexual dysfunction (impotence) caused by vascular (circulation) problems.
What are the various methods that can be used to administer ozone to patients?
- It can be given to you through the vein after it is previously mix with your blood. (Mayor Auto-hemato-therapy)
- Mix with small amount of blood and injected. (Minor Autohematotherapy)
- Injected into painful joints or sites
- Bagging with ozone (body areas with ulcer, eczema, area of the skin of body with ulcer and skin condition is covered with plastic bag, sealed and ozone is applied)
- Drink ozonated water (to heal gastric and intestinal problems, like H. pylori, Giardiasis etc.)
- Ozonated oil (apply to the skin, ulcers, eczema, acne and many other skin conditions)
- Para-vertebral injections ( for lower back pains caused by herniated discs)
- Intra-discal injections (for lower back pains caused by herniated discs, there by avoiding expensive surgeries with possible complications)
- Full body bag (cosmetic and anti aging treatment)
- Rectal Insuflation (treats, hemorrhoids, colitis, fissures, fistulas etc.)
- Vaginal insuflation (for all vaginal infections, inflammations and useful for infertility caused by local conditions)
- Urethra and Bladder irrigation (for bladders infections and related conditions)
